On October 6th, 2023, Thanadon Chanthathadawong, BDF’s Senior Program Manager for Advocacy & Private Sector Engagement, was one of the featured speakers with Syntec Construction Public Co., Ltd., and National Geographic Thailand at the "GATHERING TALK" panel session titled "Home Is Where The Heart Is" during the SUSTAINABILITY EXPO 2023 (#SX2023). This session provided a platform for BDF to demonstrate how the BSI Initiative could be utilized by businesses to create housing solutions for migrant workers and their children.
Responsible Business Forum
On June 8th, 2023, BDF’s Executive Director, Sébastien More-Chevalier, participated in the panel session on “Children Affected by Migration: The Role of Business” during the UN Responsible Business and Human Rights Forum (#RBHR2023). This session showcased how the BSI Initiative can be a powerful tool for businesses implementing child rights and business principles in the Thai construction sector. Together with the sector, we can build better lives for migrant workers and their children.
