Superheroes Academy
Essential life skills for children
The Superheroes Academy (SHA) empowers marginalized children by teaching them essential life skills in the form of “superpowers.” Superheroes are used as role models to inspire and engage children in key discussions on education, healthcare, and child rights.
Children gain “superpowers” by learning essential life skills
When children participate in SHA sessions, they are invited to wear superhero capes and are provided with certificates of achievement upon completing each life skill model. BDF delivers a curriculum of 15 life skills, reaching children with life-saving knowledge such as Child Rights, Safe Migration, Road Safety, Discrimination, and more.
Children actively participate in sharing their learnings with each other
BDF also conducts sessions with students and school authorities to raise awareness about challenges faced by vulnerable and migrant children, fostering school engagement in addressing these issues. This approach transforms children into real-life superheroes, equipping them with the knowledge and confidence to navigate life effectively.
