Women4Change Project
Empowering vulnerable women at community and systemic levels
The Women4Change Project aims at empowering vulnerable women within their communities and work environment. At the community level, women leaders receive training in key knowledge and facilitation skills to strengthen women’s groups in construction site camps and urban slums. These groups serve as safe spaces where women can share knowledge, support each other, and eventually operate independently without BDF’s direct support.

At the systemic level, BDF builds knowledge and evidence on the specific risks and challenges faced by women workers to better advocate for their rights among key stakeholders in the construction sector. BDF also strengthens the gender lens and enhances the user-friendliness of BSI tools for the construction sector.
